In this tutorial I am going to show you how to get links from web 2.0 blog sites.
Let me first, answer you the most pressing question.
What Are Web 2.0 Blogs?
These are free blogging platforms like Blogger, Tumblr and WordPress (non self hosted platform). On these blogs you can put up content an also link back to your main site from them.
The reason people link back from these types of sites is because they are free, easy to use and it works.
How Much Content Should Be On Each Web 2.0 Blog?
Honestly, not much. You can use 3-5 total articles on each blog. Only one of the articles even needs to link back to your site. You can, of course add as much content as you’d like to one of these.
The Content – The First Way
The articles do not need to be anything special, as, most of these types of sites will not be read.
You can optionally create the content for these web 2.0 sites with Article Builder. By the way through me you get Article Builder $100 cheaper.
I will say that manually creating these sites can be a bore. I use Rank Crew and have them do these for me. Make sure to select the Web 2.0 Blogs Package.
However, if you currently do not have the money to do that, you’ll need to do it manually.
Instead of just making a boring web 2.0 site why not get some traffic and sales from it?
For this you’ll create your web 2.0 sites based on really long tailed keyword phrases. I do this by finding phrases using a keyword tool. I like to use Keyword Snatcher for this but Keyword Canine or Market Samurai will do fine.
What you’re looking for are keywords with low competition. If you’re using Market Samurai you’ll want the screen mostly green. If you’re using Keyword Canine you’ll want the competition level in the 20′-40’s.
If you’re not using a tool, but, just using Keyword Planner you’ll just want to find some long tailed keywords and roll with it.
You will then use the keywords as the Title and main keywords for the site.
You’ll also still only need to put 3-5 articles on the site itself.
Do Not SPAM
If you choose to do these yourself, they can be time consuming. Why not make the web 2.0 site useful for your audience? This will help other people realize that not only is your web 2.0 site legit, it’s also helpful to them. So therefore, the odds of it not getting taken down by the web 2.0 site are good.
This also will encourage other people to like it, share it and link back to it.
Lately, I have been swamped for time so again, I’ve had to outsource this task with Rank Crew.

NOTE: Squidoo is no longer with us…however, the concept I am explaining is exactly the same on all other web 2.0 blogs.
A Web 2.0 Site List
Action: Pick 5-6 of these and create a long-tailed titled web 2.0 blog that can link back to your website. This is all you need to do for now. Or save time and use Rank Crew, select web 2.0 blog package.
You can always add more later.
